This document provides guidelines for a MAT01 project. Students will work in groups to identify real-world situations involving topics covered in the course like simple interest, compound interest, and annuities. They must conduct interviews at potential venues like banks, lending companies, and investment companies. Students must take photos as documentation and create problems using the information gathered from the interviews. Their submission should include a summary of documentation, sample problems and solutions formatted according to the instructions. The deadline for submission is August 25, 2017. Projects will be graded based on presentation and the problem sets and solutions.
