Competition
All these production companies are
essentially the UK’s leading
broadcasters of music and
entertainment. They all do the same
kind of thing but all in a different way
and for the new company DXB, these
are the companies and broadcasters it
is going to compete with.
Advertisement
All these different production companies advertise there company in many ways
and all take in someway similar routes to reach their target audience and advertise
to other viewers. Firstly, being channels that upload and broadcast many different
artists, they all upload frequently (daily) to keep their views up and reach new
people. All of them advertise themselves using social media. For example, all of
them can be found to have a page on the following channels, Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram, YouTube and even Soundcloud. In addition to this, these companies all
have different things going on to advertise there company apart from having social
media channels. For example, all have a website you can go onto and be guided to
recent and all videos. Their websites also contain all information about the
company and news about people involved in the music industry. Some have taken
this further, for example Link Up TV have made an app for fans to enjoy the music
on the go and also have their own clothing line. All of them also have their own
identity with having their own branding which is completely different to one
another.
Websites
Each of the companies have their own personal website to
one, of course advertise themselves and what they do. But
also to give their fans and followers a way to follow what is
going on in the music industry and keep up to date with the
latest news in the music industry. It also gives their
followers links to other things other than videos and news,
it also allows them to get straight links to their social
medias, apps, contact and general information and links to
their own store to purchase their promotional gifts and
apparel.
Logo and Branding
Logo and Branding
Each production company has their own unique design and branding. This art work for their company
can be found generally on their YouTube channels as their profile picture and header. The profile
picture will generally be the companies logo and the header will contain some kind of graphic work
related to the company in some way. All are different to each other as they use different colour
schemes and contain different images and art work. But the art work essentially gives the company
an identity.
