An amazing Bible!!!
What a great find! I ran across this bible at a Christian Bookstore and purchased it for my 4 year
old daughter. And it is a great hit with both of us. The stories are short but in depth enough for
ages 3-10. The songs that accompany each story are very catchy and reinforces the story. This

2. is a must have bible for every child. It’s cheaper on amazon and I’m buying a few more to give
as gifts this Christmas. The DVD “reads” the story and has music and sound effects with it. The
children can also follow along in the book.
I have fallen in love with this bible. You will not go wrong if you purchase this.

Perfect to Introduce Bible stories for young ages
Read ‘n’ See DVD Bible by Stephen Elkins is a simple beginning reader Bible and also
suitable for pre-schoolers not yet able to read. The pictures are bright and cartoonish and on
every page. The book comes with a DVD which uses the same cartoonish illustrations and
interesting voices to read the book to the child. Each Bible story (Old and New Testament) is a
very simplified version of many of the most significant Biblical characters, with the lesson of
each story emphasized in a one-liner
not for the REALLY young
My 3 1/2 yr old daughter got this for Christmas and i was excited! We started using it for our bed
time reading. She become obsessed with the violence of it. It does paraphrase and shorten the
stories but for some reason it leaves the death and killing intact. It is ‘weird’ how it uses kind
voices and a gentle tone to say things like “lets kill him and throw him in an empty well”
(spoken by joseph’s brother).
Some parents may be alright with this but we don’t let our kids watch violent television until
they can understand the content.[/has_review]
