• Resource Development department implemented in
the Archdiocese of Brisbane – with an expanded
scope from the old Fundraising Services
• With expanded scope, came new knowledge and
leadership

– Enabled us to for the first time have a consistent methodology for tracking
our relationships with donors
– Vital to our success in raising $4.9m
• The Citadel Foundation, 2002
– Implemented Raiser’s Edge during $100m campaign
– Merger of 4 separate database systems, allowing alumni details to be
updated centrally
• Petrus Development, 2004-2010
– Recommended implementation of Raiser’s Edge to 10+ clients

• Archdiocese had The Raiser’s Edge when I arrived
• Health Check completed August 2010
• Advantages included:
- Data cleansing: clean up of code tables and attributes
- Better understanding and use of attributes
- Test database implemented
• Encouraging use of actions/action tracks and prospect module
