The impact of technology on student
achievement can be used in many ways
to help the students with their goals.
Education technology can also help
student achievement while they are
learning and developing in school.
Technology is an effective means for
addressing educational needs, goals and
requirements identified between
technology and intermediate goals that
lead to high achievement, including
improved student behavior, engagement
and attendance, improved opportunities
for educator professional development,
increased efficiency in classroom and
improved communication among
parents, teachers, students and
administrators.
CREDIBLE SOURCE ONE
The impact of technology on student achievement are
one of the biggest issues that student have to deal with
when the are learning and developing skills that they
need to be successful in school. Students find that
technology is the great tool to use instead of using paper
and pen. When student are using technology is can
provided them with the great research, new skills and
learn something new while researching the website. In
today world, student prefer to use technology because
learning these basic skills faster and better when they
have a chance to practice them on the computer. When
the student think about their achievement they will
understand that technology also helps students to be
able to create work that looks more professional. So
when it’s time to hand in or publish their work, students
take pride in sharing it with their peers, parents, and
teachers.
CREDIBLE SOURCE TWO
Students have to accomplish many things while they are
attending school. The impact of technology on student
achievement have a positive and a negative impact on
the student achievement. The student have to understand
that technology have many different types of support on
student achievement. One of the principle based on
student achievement is connected classroom technology,
which refers to networked system of personal
computers or handheld devices specifically designed to
be used in a classroom for interactive teaching and
learning. As an educator know that they will need tools
to better understand their students’ learning as they
engage their students in learning experiences. The
impact of technology on student achievement goes a
long way when the children are not learning and
developing the skills they need to move forward with
their achievement goals.
CREDIBLE
SOURCE
THREE
According to one of my article which was an
interview article about Miller, which he stated
“that students respond positively when given
the chance to actively participate in the
learning process via technology. They come to
class eager to learn and take more pride in their
work. By giving students greater control of
their education and increasing their motivation
to explore and discover, technology plays a
major role in instilling in students a love of
learning that will help them to reach new
heights of achievement not only in school, but
throughout their lives”.
ANALYSIS OF INFORMATION
The impact of technology on student achievement
can be understood in many ways that will
educator, families and many ways to make sure
their child is learning the things that need to move
forward in their life. The impact of technology on
student achievement can be accomplish by
involving the families, making an excellent
connection with different theories and
partnerships with families to help support student
achievement. From reading different articles, the
impact of technology on student achievement can
also leads to use technology take more pride in
their work, have greater confidence in their
abilities, and develop higher levels of self-esteem.
With the impact of technology on student
achievement, technology can decrease
absenteeism, lower dropout rates, and motivate
more students to continue on to college.
CONNECTIONS
The connections that the impact of technology of
student achievement, which Skinner stated that it will
decrease the behavior of the students because they will
be able to come to school and be ready to learn when
they are using the technology that they have in the
classroom to motivate the students achievement. As
many educator know they have to be able to schedule a
reinforcement behavior when it occur in the classroom.
According to Skinner, there are many different role of
technology in education has been an important question
since the potential of computer technology to transform
Skinner’s teaching machines, which was recognized in
the 1960s. It remains an important issue today with
debates about the impact of technology on our society,
quick and easy online access to information for
knowledge and learning. This article also stated that the
effect of technology on young people’s social,
emotional and physical development. From Skinner
theory it is important to know about the impact of
technology have on the student achievement in
education from what we have learned over the last fifty
years.
CONCLUSION
According to many article about the impact of technology on students achievement, there are many keys issues that can
raising student achievement. The student’s achievement can be raise by providing students with solid foundation of basic
skills, which will motivate them to learn. With the technology that we have today can help the students with their goals.
By understanding the impact of technology on student achievement, there are numerous research studies on the impact of
technology on student achievement have demonstrated this finding with remarkably similar results. Some of the impact of
technology on student achievement are engaging students to spend more time on basic learning tasks than using more
traditional approach, those with few advantages in life, learn basic skills, that includes reading, writing, and arithmetic
and have a chance to practice those skills using technology. Students who regularly use technology take more pride in
their work, have greater confidence about their achievement as a student.
COMMUNICATION WITH FAMILIES
If I had a parent approach me and ask me about the impact of technology on student achievement, based on the
information I gathered, I might respond by stating….
“The impact of technology on student achievement have many principle because of the education they need to move
forward in their life. As an educator they will know what to look for when they dealing with students. The educator will
be able to recognize the positive impact of parent engagement on student achievement, so many schools and districts
leverage technology to power better and more meaningful parent/family engagement. Education technology has a positive
effect on student achievement, which they will use tools to support teaching and learning. The impact of technology on
student achievement will improve student’s behavior, engagement and achievement. The educator have to make sure that
they have an excellent connecting with families, which student learning can be shared using data, providing strategies to
support learning at home, and providing opportunities for two-way communication. It is very important that
communication with families begins on a positive note, to allow trust and cooperation to be built, and include information
regarding student learning and achievement that the parent can use at home”.
Many research stated that the impact of technology on student achievement will help families better understand their
children and be able to help the child or children at home when their needs to improve.
