• 3 different types of ProFIT:
1. Einzelprojekte (Singular Projects)
2. Komplexe Verbünde (It‘s complicated….)

ProFIT Singular Projects
• A program from federal state Berlin with IBB to
promote research, innovation and technology
• Suitable for Start-ups with innovative ideas and
business models
• Eligible are
– Personnel expenses
– Material costs
– Third-party services
– Costs for patent applications
– Royalty fees
– Marketing expenses
• Project volume not limited
• IBB-internal and external reviewers

ProFIT
• Parts (workpackages) of ProFIT projects are
– Industrial Research (IF) or
– Experimental development (EE) of
– Production, market preparation and marketing (PA/MV)
• Funding-quota depends on development phase, the Grant/Loan ratio
differs between these parts

Wie wird gefördert?
EP Einzelprojekte
Die zuwendungsfähigen Kosten für das FuE-Projekt betragen maximal
350.000 €. Die Zuwendung erfolgt als nicht rückzahlbarer Zuschuss in
Form einer Anteilsfinanzierung.
