2. Colegio Salesiano San Luis Rey is a concerted teaching center with the
Andalusian Government member of the Salesian Congregation with more
than 50 years of professional experience in the city of Palma del Río. It is an
institution that offers, with the quality as its principal goal, the following
Spanish level of studies: Primaria, Secundaria, FPB, Bachillerato and
Vocational training, in its different modalities. The School owns the Quality
Certification according to the requirements of UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000
qualities law over all of the studies, a fact that shows its principal aim.

3. Objectives of the Erasmus Policy Statement
• To improve the education quality in our higher level of studies (Ciclos
Formativos de Grado Superior)
• To have a great formative experience to improve our pupils knowledge doing
their training experience in other European countries.
• To promote business initiative, creativity, innovation and using different
languages.
• To increase the agreements with companies and institutions, apart from the
mobility of the students: preliminary visits, exchanging information, techniques,
processes and educative experiences.
• Giving the opportunity to students and teachers to improve their personality
qualities, professionalism and academic level, thank to the Erasmus program,
living and working abroad.
• Promoting the incorporation in the job world.
• Designing a plan to spread the Erasmus Program in the region, through:
• In the web page: information and documentation to be intern, periods,
calls Erasmus studies experiences, etc.
• In our School: publicity in the walls of the center, posters, leaflets,
speeches, etc.
• In the media: email, social network, radio, press, etc.

placed between Sevilla and
Córdoba; so that, the city is
exceptionally connected with these
capital cities by train, bus or car in
a short period of time. Also there is
a little airport, apart from the ones
of Sevilla and Córdoba.

Colegio Salesiano San Luis Rey is located in
the city of Palma del Río (Córdoba, Andalucía)
near the junction of the Guadalquivir and the
Genil, the longest rivers in the South of Spain.
The strategic position that the village has,
makes it one of the biggest and best
productive zones of oranges and derivaive
products in the country. Due to this reason,
the principal activity is based on these
products.

6. Besides, the School has also bilingual programs in English and collaborate with the
mobility Comenius Program that shows the implication and the interest of the
teachers in the development of the process of international mobility.

Among the studies that the School offers to the youngers,
stand out the Professional Training (Formación Profesional)
in their Medium and Superior level (Grado Medio y
Superior). One of the subjects of these studies is
“Formación en Centros de Trabajo” that means to do non-
pay jobs in companies and institutions for a period of
nearly three months. The most important objective of this
subject is to train future employers and employees.
Nowadays, the realization of these kind of studies in
foreign countries is more requested by the youth, so the
School has decided to offer the Erasmus Program to the
students.
