What was once an appropriate response was no longer fitting. Yes, there were physical symptoms in the body but what was keeping them there? I was dealing with a Vicious Cycle Disease - perpetuated by a classically conditioned negative feed back loop.
I knew I had to find a way to calm the mind down - If I couldn’t quell the symptoms directly I had to at find a way to reduce my response to them
Pain is not the cause of suffering - it is our RESISTANCE to the pain.
Started meditation to mitigate my response to symptoms
Well it really comes down to “how do you let go of resisting AND do so with some direction toward a positive outcome”?
