- 50 years ago this little girl was standing by the beach Part of her fathers film making a documentary of their native place (hembygd), ongoing activites and future plans Maybe she was dreaming of becoming a filmstar or a diver – I do not know She was not aware of plans made on local, national and international level shaping her future
- I do now that She did not now that in 50 years time 25-27 septemebr UN make decisions regarding Sustainable Development Goals

- Or that HELCOM and VASAB was to come to exist in 1974 (1992) respectively 1992 2010 joint initiative HELCOM-VASAB MSP WG – the key intergovernmental forum for transboundary MSP dialogue and development in the BSR
- Part in each others processess Towards more coherent plans All that little girl new that she wanted to go for a dip in those lovely waves And that is our joint responsiblity to plan for the future for generations to come and to make sure we have a healhy common sea
