When the historical decision to establish Bharati
Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) was taken in 1954,
it was a small step towards a big cause. The decision was
made about bringing a clear intellectual awakening and
all-around development of the young generation through
dynamiceducation.
Nourished and guided by Hon’ble Dr. Patangraoji Kadam,
Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) has been
over the years, shed the light on the length and breadth of
the country. The world’s golden jubilee speaks volumes
for the aura of glory in which our university lies
submerged. For a period of 5 decades, it has unfailingly
sent out students who are capable of being good citizens
on which the nation can count for help, guidance, and the
upliftmentofthedowntrodden.
The service it has rendered to the country is of immense
importance as it is only the little sunrays that constitute
the vast sunlight that floors the land. The roots of the
present lie in the past and so in the past; we look back to
the years when the scaffolds of our university were
formed.

DEMAND FOR
UP-SKILLED WORKFORCE
Contemporary skillset upholders are less likely to be selected for
lower or middle-level positions post-pandemic as businesses are
observing changed consumer behavior, where new trends and
technologies are entering almost every day. Amid such
dynamicity, hiring managers have increased their expectations
from candidates. Their focus will be to hire people with the right
attitude who can learn any new skills faster than others. Only
degrees and qualifications will not matter, they are expecting
possession of skills that will help the organization raise between
new tech fades. Fresh graduates expecting lengthy training and
getting paid during the period are fading away faster than
expected. Fresh graduates will now make themselves ready for
the job outside the system if they have to contest for a new job.
The fresh graduates can also expect additional competition from
the lateral and experienced people who will now be looking for
newjobs and even readyto accept lowersalaries.

New Age Leadership- A Critical Insight
ABOUT THE TALK
1.COMMENCEMENT
The event started with the introduction of Dr. Raul Villamarin Rodriguez by Dr. Ashima Bhatnagar.
She welcomed the speaker, Director Ma'am- Dr. Yamini Agarwal, MBA Program coordinator- Dr.
Bhawna and all the students.
2.SPEAKER'SWORDS
The speaker started the session by Defining and differentiating the Management and Leadership,
“What is Management? Management is about getting things done. And what is Leadership?
Leadership is about achieving goals by creating a direction for a business and inspiring employee to
take initiatives and make the right decisions.”
Dr. Raul also put emphasis on how Leadership is a virtue of leading people through encouraging
them and not just making them competewith one another.
An encouraging round of discussion also took place on how “Leaders aren't born they are made”.
The line between leader and manager is ill defined: leaders are not necessarily good managers, and
managers do not always possess leadership characteristics. Leaders provide the long-term vision
for the organization, while managers possess the talent for putting that vision into concrete action
and managing day-to-dayactivities that accomplish that action.”
Dr. Raul also provided with some of the greatest life's philosophies like How mistakes don't define
us orhowwe can make a choice ofGettingBusyliving orGettingBusydying.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Anuradha wherein she thanked the speaker about his
insights and its importance forthe students as future leaders.
With so many possible career options after an MBA, it can be a bit overwhelming for students to narrow
down on theirideal role.
Becoming an investment bankeris one ofthe top choices fora careerafterMBA.
Management consulting ranks alongside finance as one ofthe most sought-afterMBAjobs forgraduates in
India.
Although marketing has always been one of the most essential components of a business, its importance
has only risen in recent years as competition has increased manifold and brands are seeking new and
uniqueways to stand out from each other

Placement Process
In response to job descriptions floated by
companies, interested students apply through the
CRC (Corporate Resource Cell) office. A detailed
resume is submitted by the students as part of the
application process. On the basis of student
applications, companies are required to send
shortlists to the CRC Office at least a week prior
to their final placement interviews.
The Pre-placement Talk (PPT) helps companies
and students interact with each other. The
representatives of companies share information
relating to the profile of their company, key
aspects of business, work environment and
opportunities available to the students. The
presentation is followed by a Q&A session, where
students interact with company officials to get a
better understanding of the company and
potential roles. A typical PPT session is scheduled
for 90 minutes. In view of the academic calendar
of the students, the sessions are normally
scheduled after 4 pm on weekdays, and between 8
am and 8 pm on weekends.
The company can make an offer to the student
after the final interview, For an offer to be valid, it
should include details of role, location,
remuneration, and other relevant terms and
conditions required by the candidate to make a
decision. The offer is communicated by the
company to the CRC Office, which in turn
communicates it to the selected student, The
acceptance of an offer is governed by placement
rules of the MBA which are framed at the
beginning of the academic year and may vary
from year to year.
The final placement process is conducted over a
period of time beginning in the first half of
November. Companies can interview the students
they have shortlisted, on the date provided by the
CRC Office. The final placement interview gives
the company and the student an opportunity to
discuss the role in detail and make the right
choice. Since the MBA student pool comprises
experienced individuals with deep domain and
functional expertise, companies are allowed to
meet students prior to their allotted final
interview date and carry out preliminary
assessments.

The decision was made about bringing a clear intellectual awakening and all-around development of the young generation through dynamiceducation. Nourished and guided by Hon’ble Dr. Patangraoji Kadam, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) has been over the years, shed the light on the length and breadth of the country. The world’s golden jubilee speaks volumes for the aura of glory in which our university lies submerged. For a period of 5 decades, it has unfailingly sent out students who are capable of being good citizens on which the nation can count for help, guidance, and the upliftmentofthedowntrodden. The service it has rendered to the country is of immense importance as it is only the little sunrays that constitute the vast sunlight that floors the land. The roots of the present lie in the past and so in the past; we look back to the years when the scaffolds of our university were formed. DEMAND FOR UP-SKILLED WORKFORCE Contemporary skillset upholders are less likely to be selected for lower or middle-level positions post-pandemic as businesses are observing changed consumer behavior, where new trends and technologies are entering almost every day. Amid such dynamicity, hiring managers have increased their expectations from candidates. Their focus will be to hire people with the right attitude who can learn any new skills faster than others. Only degrees and qualifications will not matter, they are expecting possession of skills that will help the organization raise between new tech fades. Fresh graduates expecting lengthy training and getting paid during the period are fading away faster than expected. Fresh graduates will now make themselves ready for the job outside the system if they have to contest for a new job. The fresh graduates can also expect additional competition from the lateral and experienced people who will now be looking for newjobs and even readyto accept lowersalaries.

She welcomed the speaker, Director Ma'am- Dr. Yamini Agarwal, MBA Program coordinator- Dr. Bhawna and all the students. 2.SPEAKER'SWORDS The speaker started the session by Defining and differentiating the Management and Leadership, “What is Management? Management is about getting things done. And what is Leadership? Leadership is about achieving goals by creating a direction for a business and inspiring employee to take initiatives and make the right decisions.” Dr. Raul also put emphasis on how Leadership is a virtue of leading people through encouraging them and not just making them competewith one another. An encouraging round of discussion also took place on how “Leaders aren't born they are made”. The line between leader and manager is ill defined: leaders are not necessarily good managers, and managers do not always possess leadership characteristics. Leaders provide the long-term vision for the organization, while managers possess the talent for putting that vision into concrete action and managing day-to-dayactivities that accomplish that action.” Dr. Raul also provided with some of the greatest life's philosophies like How mistakes don't define us orhowwe can make a choice ofGettingBusyliving orGettingBusydying. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Anuradha wherein she thanked the speaker about his insights and its importance forthe students as future leaders.

  • 44. Placement Process In response to job descriptions floated by companies, interested students apply through the CRC (Corporate Resource Cell) office. A detailed resume is submitted by the students as part of the application process. On the basis of student applications, companies are required to send shortlists to the CRC Office at least a week prior to their final placement interviews. The Pre-placement Talk (PPT) helps companies and students interact with each other. The representatives of companies share information relating to the profile of their company, key aspects of business, work environment and opportunities available to the students. The presentation is followed by a Q&A session, where students interact with company officials to get a better understanding of the company and potential roles. A typical PPT session is scheduled for 90 minutes. In view of the academic calendar of the students, the sessions are normally scheduled after 4 pm on weekdays, and between 8 am and 8 pm on weekends. The company can make an offer to the student after the final interview, For an offer to be valid, it should include details of role, location, remuneration, and other relevant terms and conditions required by the candidate to make a decision. The offer is communicated by the company to the CRC Office, which in turn communicates it to the selected student, The acceptance of an offer is governed by placement rules of the MBA which are framed at the beginning of the academic year and may vary from year to year. The final placement process is conducted over a period of time beginning in the first half of November. Companies can interview the students they have shortlisted, on the date provided by the CRC Office. The final placement interview gives the company and the student an opportunity to discuss the role in detail and make the right choice. Since the MBA student pool comprises experienced individuals with deep domain and functional expertise, companies are allowed to meet students prior to their allotted final interview date and carry out preliminary assessments.
