Cedar Cliff High School Pie Fight
The Pie Fight is an official world record attempt. We have several goals with this event. Our first goal is to raise $1,000 for the Vickies Angel Walk. Next we hope our event causes enough buzz to increase the awareness of Vickies Angel Walk and increase participation in their October 9th main walk. Our last goal is to break the record. We are hoping for 1000 attendees, which at $5.00 per person helps us reach our financial goal and our world record goal. Our goal is to take the financial worry away from the family so they all can focus on the cancer and not their finances. Vickie’s Angel Walk , in many cases, is a temporary bridge for many of the families to get the family from despair as to how they are going to pay their to where they focus on Love Faith Hope and curing their cancer In some cases it is an immediate financial hardship that must be taken care of immediately. Our financial help is for both medical and non medical expenses focusing on the basic necessities to survive. Examples are rent/mortgage payments, car expenses, food expenses, house heating expenses, co-pays, medical premiums, and prescriptions. We help in blocks of three months at a time.

September 24th at Cedar Cliff High School there will be an official attempt to break the world record for the largest pie fight. Participants are asked to donate just $5.00 in order to toss pies. All money collected will go directly to New Cumberland based nonprofit Vickie’s Angel Walk. Vickie’s Angel Walk helps families who are fighting cancer with their immediate financial burdens in eight local counties on both sides of the Susquehanna River. Participants are encouraged to bring a canned good for a food drive at the pie fight. We will be donating all food to a local food pantry. This event will take place right near Cedar Cliff High School at: 550 Lowther St, Lemoyne PA, 17043. Event registration opens at 1:00pm and the pie fight will begin at 3:00pm. Remember, we need nearly 800 people in attendance to set a new world record. All are encouraged to come and participate. Parents please use your best judgment with bringing young children. This event is not ideal for toddlers. Just think you could be part of a world record, help feed the hungry and help support struggling families in the time of need at the same time.
