3. BUT.. ¿WHAT IS RAICILLA?
The raicilla, it is a distilled beverage handcrafted,
made with Lechuguilla agave, that is also called
Maximiliana, and is from Jalisco.

4.  The plant is strong, very hard and sharp peaks of
up to 45 cm high and 60 cm wide .
 Blooms once a year.

5.  For years, Raicilla was sold in clandestine places,
until in 1997, Ing. Jorge Dueñas, producer “Real
Raicilla” and "Raicilla Jalisco”, is the brand.

7. PROCESO DE ELABORACION
 Se escogen las piñas maduras, se jiman, se
limpian y se tateman. Se cuecen en hornos que
arden a 130 grados. Luego se enfrían, se vuelven
a limpiar y se muelen.
 El jugo resultante se pone a fermentar 8 días y
finalmente se destila.
