in recent years.

delivery system.
HEALTH TOURISM CAN BE DEFINED AS
● The organized travel outside one's local environment for the maintenance,
enhancement or restoration of an individual's well-being in mind and body(Carrera
& Bridges).

Medical tourism is the attempt on the part of a tourist
facility to attract tourist by deliberately promoting its
health-care services and facilities in addition to its
regular tourist amenities(Goodrich G. & Goodrich J.)
Wellness tourism is a field of health-care
focused on improving everyday health &
state of well being, rather than treating a
disease or curing illness.
International medical tourism refers to cross-border
travel made by people for medical facilities either to
leverage costs back home or avail quality treatment
from medically advanced nations.
