Keto Diet: The Step by Step Keto
Cookbook to Gain Ketosis
Keto-Friendly Bacon and Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast
Ingredients:
● 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
● 4 slices of bacon
● 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
● 4 ounces cream cheese
● 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
● 1 clove garlic, minced
● 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
● 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
● Salt and pepper to taste
● Toothpicks
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set
it aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease. Crumble the bacon into small
pieces once cooled.
3. In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the garlic and spinach. Sauté for a
few minutes until the spinach is wilted. Remove from heat and set aside.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, dried basil, dried
oregano, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5. Butterfly the chicken breasts by slicing them horizontally, but not all the way
through, so they can be opened like a book. Season both sides of the chicken
breasts with salt and pepper.
6. Divide the cream cheese mixture between the two chicken breasts, spreading it
evenly on one side of each breast.
7. Add the sautéed spinach on top of the cream cheese mixture.
8. Fold the other side of the chicken breast over the filling and secure it with
toothpicks to hold everything together.
9. Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish and bake in the preheated
oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink
in the center.
10.Remove the toothpicks before serving.
You can serve this delicious bacon and spinach stuffed chicken breast with a side of
roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete keto-friendly meal. Enjoy!
