Indian
Entrepreneurship club
An idea requires nurturing to become viable.
Detailed proposal onthe EDC.
AVISHEK KUMAR SINGH
4/24/2016
1)VISION:
In past few years India has seen a whole new dimension come up to the
forefront of boosting nations economy and creating jobs namely the 'start ups'.
Despite all the buzz around it, there is a lot of suspicion around how it works for
a poorkid or a middle class kid.
Indian entrepreneurship club believes that entrepreneurship is the key that can
unlock India's deep buried inventive potential. It will not only place India as
'capeof good hope' amidst all the economic volatility worldwide but also help
to raise the quality of life in the country.
While the top engineering and management college students have ample
opportunity around them to foster their entrepreneurial skill but "so-called" 1st
tier and 2nd tier college students lack this opportunity and IEC aims at bridging
the gap for 'the idea guy' in these institutions.
With this belief The Indian Entrepreneurship Club, targets to help in the
development of India's entrepreneurial ecosystemby enabling easy and efficient
interaction between its major components spanning students, working
professionals, aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, mentors, angel investors,
venture capital firms and corporatethrough initiatives like interactive sessions,
competitions, conferences etc.
2)WHEREWILL WE OPERATE?
IEC aims to have presence and robust supportsystem in all engineering and
management colleges in knowledge park-II, Greater Noida and will be
headquartered at Greater Noida Institute of Technology(132).
ourinitiatives:
i)e-buzz club: This club aims to foster entrepreneurial spirit inside all the member
institute campus. Activities will be conducted throughout the year at different
venues to ensure that everyone with interest at every level i.e. newbie,
enthusiast, idea guy, beta guy and also the start-up guy get enough exposure.
Below are some of the activities that will inculcate and encourage entrepreneur's
spirit among the students:
 Lecture series
 Workshops
 InformalSessions (sessionswillbe dynamic and interactive, like case
study sessions, businessmodelanalysis.)
 various platforms like idea validation platform, networking platform,
investment platformconsidering the various phases of an entrepreneur.
 Baby's Day Out (students get a chance to spend time with an
entrepreneur, CEOs, Co-founders, big businessman for hours).
 Events like 'venture camp' and 'Maiden Pitch'.
II) venturecamp:
Did you always wanted to "create a legacy, stand out, make ideas
happen" but just couldn't get the launch pad!!, our 5 months extensive
bootcamp is the 'sanjevani' you have been searching for. During this
program an idea will be made start up worthy with the help of extensive
mentoring and effective team building exercise.
This program involves different aspects to take an idea further to a beta-plan
like idea submission, team building, mentoring on your idea and MVP, and
the final pitching of your business plan in front of investors.
III) ACCLERATOR PROGRAM:
This program is for all early stage entrepreneur struggling with their beta-plan
in the market.
whythe acceleratorprogram?
 1. Hand-Holding: We'll bring you the experience of our mentors and
expertise of our staff so that you avoid mistakes that can be avoided. A
like-minded community goes a long way in expanding the scopeof your
ideas and transforming your own personality.
 2. Curriculum: Know what you are doing and why you are doing it. A
wide array of experts will work together with you on areas like product
design, marketing, sales and business operations. You might end up
achieving even more than you visualized on your own.
 3. Platforms: Growing your start-up business is tricky but becomes
easier with our experienced business developers, campaign managers and
social media experts to advise you. We will suggest efficient platforms to
analyze what is working and what needs to be changed in order to retain
your sustainable growth.
IV) industry experts on-board:
A) Mr. Prakash Arya:
A veteran in the field of digital and Online communication as well as in e-
Business. He also has a phenomenal life experience in the field of
entrepreneurship that will greatly help the students.
b)Mr. Sandeep Maheswari:
He is one of the fastest growing entrepreneurs of India. He is the founder and
CEO of Imagesbazaar.com , the largest collection of Indian images. what
makes him a lot different from other is that he is also a motivational speaker and
is known for his ‘Free Motivational Life Changing Seminars’ to motivate and
inspire the minds of the young.
SECTORSWE SUPPORT:
IEC supports diverse sectors but will give special attention and privileges to
project with social angle to it.
various sectors are:
1)Consumer
2)Fin-tech.
3)Education
4)IT services
5)Internet.
ourflagship program:
Any landmark project requires time to take-off , thus even our collective effort
to foster entrepreneurs spirit in our student will take time and the results will be
limited to hand full of students.
But our team really wants to benefit each and every student & change the way
education is being given. But this will only happen if we agree to make some
radical changes in our teaching structure and culture.
proposal:
1) we will identify few subjects in each academic year's syllabus on the basis of
which an idea can be developed & will promoteamong the students to think
deep to identify them. This will lead to better concentration of students on the
subject and the habit of referring to research papers, good reference books will
be developed, that will ultimately producequality graduates.
2) Develop a student volunteers club that will be responsible and paid to handle
various activities of the college.
for example:
a) Form a media management club team that will handle external
and internal communication on the behalf of the college.
b) Form a creative team that will create various texture concepts
relevant to the science and technology and that can be put on the
walls of our college.
c) Form a team in order to publish a half- yearly magazine, etc.
