In India there are 6,00,000 villages out of them 1,25,000 are
backward so there is a need for designing and building the
village as a smart village. The vision of smart village is that
modern energy access can act as a catalyst for development in
education, health, productive enterprise and environmental
sustainability. There are several issues related to infrastructure
development in Dehradun. These include connectivity in water
supply, power, surface transport, communication and welfare.

13. As we acknowledged in the video some of the factors that affect the villagers :
• We need to improve the transportation system in the village area mostly by
focusing over road infrastructure and secondly by introducing cheap E-
Vehicles making it a cleaner and easier source of transportation.
• Even though expensive Co-Ed schools and college exist the lack of proper
girl only Colleges and schools are a barrier of children to overcome. Also
Hospitals need to be more accessible and advanced.
