Project: Dispute Systems Duration: Jan 06 to
June 06
7. Role: Developer Status:
Implemented
Dispute system replacement project is an End to End Migration of Business logic from an existing Dispute
Management product to GUI Work-flow system, the existing Disputes Management subsytem for our
Client, is to be rolled off , the void created to be filled by GUI and Back-end. But as the New product
brings with it its own framework and other contingencies, the current interfaces had to be analysed for
possible customizations and modifications required. As the front-end will be interacting with most of the
other sub-systems through an MQ/GTM interface, the major structure for the Front-end to sit in, had to
developed by the GTM team , which I was part of. As a part of this Initiative, I was one of the 5 member
team in creating the Back-end system for Dispute system.
The Analysis phase, which we were actively part of, involved understanding the Old system , befoe
embarking on creating the framework required for the new one. The final design required the Back-end to
create all the Disputes files to be sent to Association ( Mastercard+Visa), based on the data sent by GUI.
It would also serve as the channel through which Chordiant gets all its Account-level , Transaction-level
and Authorisation level details for its decisioning process while extensively interacting with CMS, FAS &
TRAMS/ITS.
