SARS-Cov-2 Symptoms
• Fever
• Dry cough
• Fatigue
• Throat pain
• Nasal congestion
• Chills
• Headache
Previous Omicron
variants
• Loss of taste
and/or smell
• Diarrhea
• Threw up
• Runny nose
• Sneezing
• Night pains
Síntomas severos
• Confusion
• Cyanosis
• Difficulty breathe
• Poor oxygenation
(< 90%)
• Loss of
speech/mobility
Under suspicion, do an RT-PCR (more than 48 h of close contact with a positive or when having
symptoms) or antigen test (indications below). Antibodies tests determine the immunity gained after
the infection or vaccination, but they are NOT RECOMMENDED FOR DIAGNOSIS.
Do testing after symptoms
start
HIGH RISK:
Anyone with symptoms
1
Get tested 5 to 7 days after close
contact*
MEDIUM RISK: Asymptomatic
who had close contact*
2 LOW RISK: Asymptomatic in a
high-risk setting
3
Test 5-7 days after being at high risk of
transmission or just before a meeting,
event, trip, etc.

Síntomas SARS-Cov-2
• Fiebre
• Tos seca
• Fatiga
• Dolor de garganta
• Congestión nasal
• Escalofríos
• Dolor de cabeza
Variantes Omicrón
anteriores
• Pérdida del gusto
y/o el olfato
• Diarrea
• Vómito
• Escurrimiento nasal
• Estornudos
• Dolores nocturnos
Síntomas severos
• Confusión
• Cianosis
• Dificultad para
respirar
• Mala oxigenación
(< 90%)
• Pérdida del
habla/movilidad
RIESGO ALTO:
Cualquiera con síntomas
1
Hacer prueba 5 a 7 días después
de haber tenido contacto cercano*
RIESGO MEDIO: Asintomático
que tuvo contacto cercano*
2 RIESGO BAJO: Asintomático en
entorno de alto riesgo
3
Prueba 5-7 días después de estar en alto
riesgo de transmisión o justo antes de una
reunión, evento, viaje, etc.
