3. Course Description
This course provides students with the theories and principles of ELT
materials evaluation and design including the process of selecting,
adapting, and creating materials for teaching English. They will be
guided to design teaching materials and supplement materials parallel
to the goal and objective, methodology, level and needs of the students.
Inaddition,theuseof authentic materialswill be introduced presenting
a real-world context allowing them to interact with each other or the
teacherinmeaningfulways.

• To evaluate and develop the materials for language teaching to
