  2. 2. 2Accrete Solutions Confidential Voice Tool Overview • There are many forms of wearables in the market (ex. hand held, ring scanner, Google glass etc..) that have various applications in enterprise • The voice based guiding system is a wearable that relays voice commands between the user and centralized system. • It may come as a headphone or as a Bluetooth device • It helps to transform a complex business process to a voice based one thereby making it humane and simpler • It can be used as guide in a large shop floor to effectively co-ordinate work between people and physical activity.

  4. 4. 4Accrete Solutions Confidential Existing process flow for picking • Picker prints the confirmation document for a given repair order • Based on the document, picker goes and picks the parts from each row and bin • Picker has to maintain a spread sheet of parts location and status to help identify their correct location • Picker then puts all the picked parts along with the equipment and confirms the confirmation document • If some parts are missing, then picker has to manually correct the confirmation and create a new confirmation for the parts that are in awaiting status

  6. 6. 6Accrete Solutions Confidential New process flow for picking - with voice Step 1 • Picker scans the RMA and line number • The scanned details will be sent through Voice/XI and to CRM - This helped to do away with printing confirmation document • In CRM we read the open confirmation and the associated spare parts details and send it back to Voice tool • Voice guides the picker to correct rack and bin for each spare parts • Picker collects all the spares, scan them and place it along the equipment • Picker collects all the spares and place it along the equipment
  7. 7. 7Accrete Solutions Confidential New process flow for picking - with voice Step 2 • Pickers commands the voice tool to complete the confirmation for this RMA • This request comes to CRM along with the details of picked/not picked parts. • Using this details CRM FM will completes the confirmation document associated with the RMA • If a spare part is not picked due to non-availability , CRM then creates a new confirmation for the awaiting spare parts alone and complete the existing ones
