- A new, better way: Connected Planning To be able to automate data aggregation into a single source, involve more people in planning processes and plan and pivot more quickly. You need a new way to plan that is continuous and collaborative. Planning that drives action. We call that way Connected Planning. Connected Data: One source of information, with the right view for each role within your business. Connected People: Collaborative decision-making, greater insight from collective intelligence and rapid alignment to business change. Connected Plans: Ability to analyze and refine plans in real-time for one area, many areas or across the business. Connected planning is for all areas of the business, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Workforce Planning, Marketing and IT.
- With Anaplan, you can connect to any data source and bring fresh data into a central data hub that feeds across your models. This way, you can have a common drivers and data elements across you company. When something structural changes – you open a new division, acquire a company or re-organize, you can make changes centrally and update your models with Anaplan application lifecycle management. - The core MuleSoft IPaaS product is called AnyPoint. For Anaplan customers the typical data integration use case is to import source data from various operational systems of record. In this slide we show Salesforce and SAP as just two source system examples of 100s that the MuleSoft AnyPoint platform can integrate with to push data into Anaplan as the target. AnyPoint takes care of the data mapping between source and target systems, data security, sending data by batch or in real-time, data processing through multiple steps, and monitoring the success of import/export jobs
- The Anaplan MuleSoft connector provides valuable security, workflow, scaling and performance enhancements. In particular the connector now provides data streaming capabilities which enable business planners to get the latest operational updates that batch processing of data updates can’t provide.
- The Anaplan MuleSoft connector provides data mapping features like Data Preview and greater job processing resiliency with Automatic Retries. These features lower the cost to develop and maintain data integrations to Anaplan.
