Conversational English and Basic Writing
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for collage students that are learning English as a second
language. It develops the fundamental conversational language structures. The
purpose is to lead students to communicative performances when speaking and writing
as well as understanding the language in listening and reading activities. This course
promotes vocabulary acquisition, especially that within the students’ daily life.
GENERAL OBJETIVES
At the end of the course, students will:
1. Apply grammar skills to convey performances
2. Speak english naturally
3. Develop correct English pronunciation
4. Use correct intonations in the language deliverance.
5. Express information and their ideas selecting the adequate vocabulary, syntax and
sentence structure that conveys the correct meanings.
6. Use idiomatic expressions as part of their vocabulary.
7. Listen, read, speak and understand English.
8. Feel comfortable when speaking English.
SPECIFIC OBJETIVES
During the course development, the students will:
1. Learn and apply grammar rules.
2. Use the correct word order
