password (OTP) approach

All suppliers perceive and pay for value in line with their usage
 Exchange of all basic transaction is free for the supplier, with no change
management supporting instant sign-up
 Light-enabled suppliers can choose to pay for value-added services
Incentivize buyers to enable all suppliers
 Ability to turn off parallel processes, reduced supplier inquiries, more
accurate invoices
 Majority of suppliers can be enabled ad hoc, so they can start transacting
faster and gain digital efficiency sooner
Efficient supplier enablement
 Free and e-mail-based = minimal change impact
 Only actively enable suppliers that need full-use account such as catalogs,
integration; all others come on via light enablement. Truly transacting
suppliers  less effort and expense needed
Light account
Interactive e-mails (IE) are the trigger documents
 No change in concept
 E-mail-driven access using a free light account
 IE-order + (new) IE-invoice status
 Existing QE templates also drive to light account

 Almost all Ariba Network documents are available using the existing online
UI, including e-invoice profile setup

 Current OTP replaced with normal (registered) portal logon, including profile
