- 9. What is NPSP? The Nonprofit Success Pack is Salesforce.org’s solution for nonprofits of all sizes. It’s an application, or “app,” built on top of the Salesforce Platform that provides tons of out-of-the-box functionality for nonprofits. The Nonprofit Success Pack helps you manage donors and donations, organizations, grants, relationships, and many other things. Because it’s built on the Salesforce platform, it also lets you build customized functionality when the out-of- the-box functionality doesn’t suffice. . The Nonprofit Success Pack is a series of Apps installed on top of Salesforce Enterprise Edition

- Let’s talk a little bit about Salesforce the company. Salesforce started in 1999, and since then, our customers’ success has helped us grow from a startup to the 4th largest software company in the world. we’ve been welcomed into the Fortune 500 and are honored to have been named: Fortune’s most admired software company three years in a row Fortune’s Best Place to Work seven years in a row One of Forbes’ most innovative companies in the world five years in a row! All of this is only made possible by the success and innovation of our customers.
- While these things have made me a fan, I joined Salesforce because there is a higher cause. Salesforce has a philanthropic 1-1-1 model where we donate 1% of our tech, resources and time to help nonprofits achieve their own missions for improving the world. Over the last 17 years, we’ve donated: Over $250M worth of product to over 29K nonprofits and counting…. We’ve donated over $115 million in grants Over 1.3M hours of community service We also encourage other companies to adopt an integrated philanthropy model through the Pledge 1% program. The organization that I founded in 2010 and now I sit on the board - focuses on community wellness, with programs delivered in schools, summer camps, online and through a few products, like activity books. There is also a wristwear product that empowers people with ADHD to be more successful. Salesforce was an easy choice for us because we knew that they had the industries best solution from previous experiences and the multiple gartner quadrants demonstrating the leader position but it certainly doesn’t hurt that salesforce gives 501c3s their first 10 licenses for FREE and also offer steep discounts on the rest of their offerings.
- This strategy has helped NGOs across the sector and around the world achieve success, regardless of size or vertical. Based on our annual, third-party customer survey, 93% of our customers said Salesforce helped them achieve their mission more effectively, and 92% would recommend it to other organizations, as evidenced recently at our annual dreamforce event, where over 170k registered and almost 3000 sessions were delivered by our customers, to our customers.
