Asociación de Profesores
de Inglés de Rosario December 2010
___________________________________________________________
Dear colleague,
We are pleased to forward the December issue of our monthly newsletter.
December is a really busy month for all of us, so this newsletter is a very short one. In
addition to it, we have prepared a Summary of our work this year and projects for the
next, which should be reaching you both in digital and paper form. No newsletter will
be sent in January, but keep checking our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Important: Please note our office will close after December 21st,
and will open again on February 16th.
Recent activities
December 7th:
APrIR's End-of-the-Year Dinner Party
It was held at Pago del Abasto restaurant. Participants enjoyed not only a delicious
meal in a friendly atmosphere, but also the outstanding performance of Coro de
Fisherton, who sang some memorable tunes. Our gratitude goes to them.
We are also grateful to SBS and Ameghino bookshops as well as Macmillan Publishers,
Oxford University Press, and Pearson, who generously contributed items to be raffled.
President Graciela Castelli shared a presentation summarising the accomplishments of
the year and some plans for the future. See it http://prezi.com/hhzxqa5ue53k/aprir-
2010/
Participants had a lot of fun playing bingo. For all those who asked for the list of words,
see http://septicscompanion.com/showcat.php?cat=food
And if you want a real simple online tool to create bingo cards, this is the one we used
