Employment Status (Regular, Contractual, Part-time, or Probationary) e. Estimated Monthly Income 2. Do green behavioral control, green environmental awareness, green product trust, green product value, and green price sensitivity influence the green behavior of the faculty and staff of MSU- IIT?
  4. 4. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM 3. What is the most influential factor in respondents’ green behavior? 4. What is the least influential factor in the respondents’ green behavior? 5. Which type of employment status has the highest level of green behavior?
  5. 5. This Quantitative study aims to assess the factors influencing the green behavior of the faculty and staff of Mindanao Sate University - Iligan Institute Technology. This research seeks to analyze the relationship between the factors (Green Behavioural Control, Green Product Trust, Green Product Value, Green Environmental Awareness and Green Price Sensitivity) and Green Behavior on green products. PURPOSE OF THE STUDY GROUP 2
  6. 6. • Does green behavioral control positively influences green behavior on green products? • Does green product trust positively influences green behavior on green products? • Does green product value positively influences green behavior on green products? • Does green environmental awareness positively influences green behavior on green products? • Does green price sensitivity positively influences green behavior on green products? 10. 10. Quantitative approach is used for the research design. The researchers will conduct a survey consisting of questions to assess the socio-economic profiles and factors of their respondents such as • Name • Age • Sex at birth • Highest educational attainment • Employment status (Regular, Contractual, Part-time, or Project Employment) • Estimated monthly income RESEARCH DESIGN GROUP 2
  11. 11. • The stratified sampling method will be used to select samples from the population for this study. PARTICIPANTS/SAMPLE SIZE GROUP 2 • This study will use primary data. • A-priori analysis will be used to determine the sample size.
Therefore, a survey method is used by using questionnaires to obtain the primary data needed. • The questionnaire consists of 31 items; (a) five on green behavioural control; (b) six on generation Y green behaviour; (c) five on green environmental awareness; (d) five on green price sensitivity; (e) five on green product trust; and (f) five on green product value.
  13. 13. DATA COLLECTION TECHNIQUE GROUP 2 • The researchers will use SmartPLS software -This software will measure the convergent validity, or how much the construct correlate with each other, as well as, the discriminant validity where it measures how much the constructs are uncorrelated from each other. • The items in the survey questionnaire are adopted from the study of Ogiemwonyi (2022).

  20. 20. The data that will be gathered in the surveys will be used to process and analyze for measurement and structural model assessments. DATA ANALYSIS PLAN GROUP 2 a. What is the relationship between the green behavioral control and greed behavior? Proposed Analysis Plan: Construct validity and Reliability analyses Each question will have factor loadings to determine which of it will be eliminated.
  21. 21. Cronbach's Alpha and Composite Reliability will be used to measure the construct reliability DATA ANALYSIS PLAN GROUP 2 Convergent validity is calculated using the Average Variance Extracted (AVE) Proposed Analysis Plan: Construct validity and Reliability analyses a. What is the relationship between the green behavioral control and greed behavior?
  22. 22. Discriminant validity is measured using the Heterotrait-Monotrait ratio (HTMT) DATA ANALYSIS PLAN GROUP 2 Proposed Analysis Plan: Construct validity and Reliability analyses a. What is the relationship between the green behavioral control and greed behavior? Discriminant validity is also measured using the Fronell-Larcker
  23. 23. Coeffecient determination will be measured to know the strength of the relationshipip between the linear model and the dependent variables DATA ANALYSIS PLAN GROUP 2 Proposed Analysis Plan: Structural model results estimate a. What is the relationship between the green behavioral control and greed behavior? The effect size will be calculated for each independent variable to measure the practical significance
  24. 24. The Variance Inflation Factor ewill be measured to test if there is an issue of multicollinearity between variables DATA ANALYSIS PLAN GROUP 2 Proposed Analysis Plan: Structural model results estimate a. What is the relationship between the green behavioral control and greed behavior? Q-squared predictive relevance will be measured to assess extra evaluation of the model fit
