existence of the vital curative force within the body."
• It aids human system to remove the cause of disease i.e. toxins
by expelling the unwanted and unused matters from human

Hydrotherapy
• It is the treatment of disorders using different forms of water
• Hydrotherapy additionally uses its temperature effects, as in hot
& cold baths, saunas, wraps, etc and in all its forms-solid, fluid,
vapour, ice and steam, internally and externally.
• Water is used in many forms in treatment. The various forms of
treatments are:-

Manipulative Therapy
Manual therapy, or manipulative therapy, is a physical treatment
primarily used by physical therapists,to treat musculoskeletal
pain and disability; it mostly includes kneading and manipulation
of muscles, joint mobilization and manipulation
It includes:
• Chiropractic
• Osteopathy
• Massage
Massage therapy
• Massage is an excellent form of passive exercise.
• Massage involves acting on and manipulating the body with
pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving –
tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical
aids.

Mud therapy
• Mud therapy is the process of using one of the natural element
of the universe for healing purpose
• the mud used for this should be clean and taken from 3 to 4 ft.

where hot spring water can combine with volcanic ash

Acupressure and Acupuncture
• Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers or
any blunted objects to press key points called as ‘Acu
Points’ (Energy stored points) on the surface rhythmically on
the skin to stimulate the body’s natural self-curative abilities.
• When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension
and promote the circulation of blood and the body’s life force to
aid healing.
• Acupuncture is the procedure of inserting and manipulating
fine filiform needles into specific points on the body to relieve
pain or for therapeutic purposes.

treated and cured through the application of magnets to the
body of the patients.

Heliotherapy
• Light therapy—or phototherapy, classically referred to
as heliotherapy—consists either of exposure to daylight or
some equivalent form of light as a treatment for seasonal

specific wavelengths of light using polychromatic polarised
light to treat a skin condition.
Fasting therapy
• Fasting is primarily the act of willingly abstaining from some or
all food, drink, or both, for a period of time.
• A fast may be total or partial concerning that from which one
fasts, and may be prolonged or intermittent as to the period of
fasting.
• Fasting is an important treatment modality for health
preservation.

In naturopathic theory, illness is viewed as a process of disturbance to
health and subsequent recovery in the context of natural systems.
Many things can disturb optimal health, such as poor nutrition, chronic
stress, or toxic exposure. The goal of the physician is to restore health
by identifying and minimizing these disturbances
