leader) has said that "We played that damn thing 50 or 100 times, through a Fender amplifier that
was plugged into an alternator in the car.“
The result of this was a recording of the single “A", acknowledged by the band as a direct homage to
the legendary artist and his album Impressions (in particular X). The song A is considered seminal
since it was responsible for creating a musical subgenre “B” when journalist Sally Kempton, in her
review of A for The Village Voice, used B to describe the record's experimental fusion of eastern and
western music.

but this machine gun system was outmoded after WW2.

completed, the man overseeing the project died and Wren took up the project. His
idea was to create a large open area for the building. But the people in charge
