Directs Information Management and Personnel Management for the entire unit reserve
squadron. Manages communications and information tasks, functions, and organizational
elements including staff support and administrative communications for 65 personnel. Provides
assistance in many different administrative communications to include but not limited to typing,
editing and mailing correspondence. Maintains office file plans. Executes staff support with
records management and various administrative functions to include answering phones, taking
messages, receives and distributes mail and maintaining/updating databases. Directs and
maintains the support and security of computer operations. Squadron security manager; trains
squadron personnel on computer Information Assurance Awareness Program. Accounting of
squadron resources and office supplies; managed closeout of squadron budget; eight programs &
zero discrepancies. Handles over 7000 inactive and active duty Reserve requests. Assists
Commander with execution and utilization of mandays and obligates $2+M in Reserve mandays.
Conducts annual review of program requirements, prepares programming and budgeting
requests, and develops plans for use of resources. Government purchase card holder-- accounted
for resources; managed FY closeout budget. Balanced government purchase account; managed
$60K allocation including international transactions. Worked with US Bank to recapture $1.4K
in unauthorized funds; significant cost savings to the US government.
