As my dissertation, project come out with my own idea shows up new applicable field of FPGA
and how to joint FPGA and IoT systems. Project, named Hardware Control via Web Server on
FPGA Board, contains more than one main study field: FPGA, Web Server, Web Design and
Embedded Programming.
Abstract- Designing a HTML web page for interface use and Developing a basic Web based
server including DHCP Server to control all hardware components mutually on the board such as
lighting, switch control, typing to 16X2 Display, typing to Hexadecimal Display etc.
I developed and configured all system by using NIOS II soft processor and IDE with C
programming language on QUARTUS as software support and Altera DE-2 115 Board as
hardware support. I also designed an easy to use web site page to observe and control all
components status.

Project aim is to develop a DCT based loseless data compression software program by using
effective compression algorithm-Arithmetic coding. Project has 2 main parts name coding and
decoding. Processes of coding section are DCT conversion, Quantized Coefficients, Zig-Zag
Scanning, performing Arithmetic coding algorithm to AC coefficients in order to get bitstream
which will send to receiver as data. Processes of decoding section consist of reverse steps of
coding section.

Project aim is to analyze novel boundary detection methods experimentally in order to compare
and show up algorithms’ weaknesses and strenghts by evaluation metric.

Berkeley Data Set (BDS 500) to implement algorithms and evaluate them fairly. I also used text
editor program LaTeX to prepare well-organized documents.

Project aim is to design a FIFO to provide larger buffer size to store larger data for limited data
storage capable UART Unit of microcontroller, developing RS232 interface by VHDL and Testing
all system over ModelSim.
I contributed all of phases of the project by designing a Software FIFO buffer for the purpose of
storing bigger data, RS232 interface and its testbench with VHDL Language and analyzed all
parts of project with ModelSim Simulation tool of Quartus on Linux OS my own.

Project aim is to design and analyze an applicative communicating optically system.
Abstract- Project has been composed of Transmitter and Receiver parts. Thanks to User
Interface, User sends keyboard input to RS-232 Serial Port simultaneously, Received Data via RS-
232 Serial Port is converted to UART Protocol standart using MAX 232 Integrated Component.
Laser is triggered by MOSFET Amplifier using that ASCII coded binary data comes in UART
standarts. Laser triggers photo resistor/transistor delivering data to Serial input port in the
receiver part.
I contributed all phases of project consist of Schematic Design and PCB Design with Proteus-
Altium Designer Tool, Simulation with Multisim and Developing User Interface with C# sections.
