• This article discusses the use of Wikipedia by academics
and students for learning and teaching activities at
Liverpool Hope University, one of the British University
• They examined existing research on Wikipedia use amongst
students and academics.
• Within the academic group of 133, 74% indicated that they
used Wikipedia for some purpose, be it learning and
teaching. Only 8% have edited pages at some time and 1%
on a regular basis and rest don’t prefer
• Out of1222 students, their principal findings were
