This a class assignment for computer assisted English learning. I presented this in class where we discussed about how these tools are useful in learning your L2.

1. How to Learn English using
the Internet

2. Dictionary online site
• One of the sites on the internet that you can visit is
WWW.howjsay.COM ; it’s purpose is to use an online dictionary that
will pronounce correctly the Word you type.

3. Messengers
• Other great tools for communicating online are MSN, Skype, Yahoo
Messenger.
• The positive aspects are that you can chat on real time with Friends
around the world. If someone acccepts your request from online
places you can have online Friends.

4. Podcasts
• What are podcasts?
• The best around the internet are probably “English We Speak” and
British Council.

5. Learn by speaking online
• www.MyLanguageExchange.com allows you to email, text and speak
over Skype for people who are learning new languages.
• www.Conversationexchange.com is also another website where you
can do almost the same.
• The App for Smartphone would be HelloTalk, which would allow you
to communicate with native speakers around the area.
