Founded in 2012 by Dr. Daniel Shurman and
Andrew Frankel, COO Pennsylvania Dermatology
Partners is headquartered in Birdsboro, PA. In
2012 we had just one location. We have
currently grown to a network of over 20
treatment providers that operate 14 facilities
throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. We offer a
variety of dermatology treatment services for
hair, nail and skin conditions and specialize in
the detection and treatment of skin cancers. We
are continuing to grow!

individual to the fullest and best of our ability. Our team of professionals includes Doctors, Nurses, Physicians
Assistants, Medical Assistants, Customer Service and Administrative Specialists. Each member of the team is

We currently have fourteen convenient locations to serve our
patients!
New Employee Access
New employees access logons are created prior to hire through the new hire process. Access is given for the
following systems:
• Email – through OX
• PDP file share
• Advanced MD – our scheduling system
• Spark – instant messaging system
• PDP Ticket system – used to report issues or needs
• EMA – our Medical Record Database after 90 days of employment
Logins are a Single Sign-On (SSO) meaning that you will use the same username and password for all applications.
Remember to change your password after your first log on!
REMEMBER: never save your login
information to the computer!
This protects your private information
and work!
PDP Help Desk Ticket System
The PDP Help Desk is located on the Intraweb. The ticket
system allows PDP to streamline, prioritize and manage
requests. The system allows you to submit a ticket for the
following:
• Computer and printer issues
• Repairs and maintenance
• Supply Order and Medical Supplies
PDP Help Desk Ticket System
When entering a ticket, be as detailed
as possible so that your request can be
prioritized and resolved as quickly as
possible. List detailed information on
what steps you have taken to remediate
the problem. List the office as well as
the specific location of the problem.
(Ie: At Douglassville the printer on the
first floor near the nursing station…)
PDP File Share
The PDP Secure File Share is the library for
the organization. We can share documents
between appropriate staff and
departments.
Documents update in real time and are
maintained on the cloud based system.

• Once your New Hire Paperwork is
returned, HR will set up your account in
Paylocity.
• PDP utilizes Paylocity for time keeping
and payroll services.
• Employees are paid on a bi-weekly
basis.
• Paid time off is maintained in the
payroll system and PTO requests can be
submitted through the time off request
calendar.

Registration with Paylocity is easy!
Simply go to:
Paylocity.com/login/Register New User
Once this screen comes up enter our
company ID 45689 and proceed with the
remainder of your information.
When registered the self service portal will
be available to you.
REMEMBER: never save your login information
to the computer!
This protects your private information!

The Paylocity Dashboard gives you
access to:
• Pay and tax information
• Time card access
• Benefit information
• 401K links
• Time Off balances and requests
• Employment information
• News you can use!
You can also download the Paylocity
Mobile app for quick access to your
information.
Benefits
Medical -
• Premiums are age banded
for all participants.
• Contributions are pre-taxed
• The company covers 60% of
the employee premium
• Dependents are eligible to
enroll at 100% cost to the
employee
• Deductions are on a bi-
weekly basis
Full time employees are eligible to enroll in the medica/dental/vision plans the 1st of the month following 30 days of
employment. All coverage is provided by:
Dental -
• Employees are eligible to
enroll at 100% cost to the
employee
• Dependents are eligible to
enroll at 100% cost to the
employee
• Deductions are pre-taxed
on a bi-weekly basis
• Premiums are $9.39 per pay
per person insured
Vision -

per person insured
Plans run from June 1 – May 31st. Annual Open Enrollment will be in the month of May
Benefits
Voluntary benefits are available through Colonial Life. The cost of voluntary benefits are 100% paid by the
employee and will be payroll deducted. Some coverage is eligible for pre-tax deductions.
Coverage options include:

• Hospital Confinement
• Life Insurance
• Disability

401K
Employees are automatically enrolled in the 401K plan after the successful completion of the 90 day
probationary period.
• Employees who are 21 years of
age are automatically enrolled
at a 3% contribution
• The company matches up to 4%
of your contributions
• The company match is 100%
vested from day 1!
• Traditional and Roth options are
available
• The 401K is with Vanguard and can
be accessed online

Paid Time Off
Full Time Employees will accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) after the successful completion of the 90 day probationary
period.
Paid Time Off (PTO) is earned at the rate of 0.06
hours per hour worked to a maximum of 120
hours per calendar year. PTO is for:
• Vacation
• Sick leave
• Personal matters such as funeral leave,
doctor’s appointments etc.
• Earned PTO can be used after the first of the
calendar year for time earned in the previous
calendar year.
• PTO may be taken in half-day increments of
time.
• Each full-time employee will be allowed to
request up to five unpaid days off per year.
Requesting more than five unpaid days off
in a year may result in corrective action.
Please note that requesting unpaid time off
does not guarantee that it will be approved.

PDP observes the following paid holidays per year for all non-exempt, full-time employees after successfully
meeting the 90-day probationary period
