3. Thomans Mann
• Thomas Mann was born in
Lübeck, near the Baltic Sea, on
July 6, 1875. He came from a
bourgeois merchant family. His
brother Heinrich Mann was also
an important writer. After the
death of his father did not
follow his mother and siblings in
Munich. He went to Italy, where
he wrote "Bountenmprok"
which established him as an
important writer from a very
young age.
