3. SEARCH AND FIND CANDIDATES
Search and find candidates
Basic keyword search by name, title, company, skill, city/metro
SearchNRecruit currently has a database of 90 million professionals in the US. This is
being updated constantly and new contacts are being added. You can find contacts
with basic search (quick reach) or advanced search
If you know the name of a candidate or want to search for people with a specific skill in
a city or at a company, you can enter that as free form text in the basic search. Click on
“Search to Recruit” in the top left menu.

Advanced search by skills, city and predicted metrics
You can use advanced search to narrow the results to show only the contacts that are
predicted to leave and/or the star performers. You can select skills, city, designation,
years of experience, “Start performer”, “Likely to leave” and then select “Advance
Search” from the advance search screen.

From the search results page, you can view the profile of the contact by clicking on the

Add notes
You can add your notes for the contact by clicking on “Add note”
Enter your notes and save. This note is visible to all employees in your company. If you
mark the note as private then it is visible only to you.

You can track the interaction history of a specific contact by clicking on the “History”
option next to the “Add Note” option.
You can view the complete history of all interactions(emails) with this contact by
employees of your company.

You can compose an email from scratch or select a template from the right on the
contact profile page.
The subject and content is populated from the template. The placeholders ({firstname},
{lastname} or {companyname} are replaced with the actual values).

Multiple emails for a contact are usually available. You can select any one of these
emails. If that email is no longer available, email is sent to the next best available email-
id.

Creating email template
If you are planning to contact a large number of candidates for a specific position or a
company, it is good to create an email template that can be reused. The template can
contain information about the company or about the position. Select “Email Templates”
from the left menu.
Then click on the “+” on the top right.

Give template a name, subject line and content. You can add placeholders for first
name, last name and company name (of the recipient).
Review and save the template. You will be provided with feedback to improve the email
content. Incorporate the changes and save the template

When you click on any contact from the search results page, you can compose an
email directly or you can select a template from the right.

A/B Testing your messages with template metrics
You can compare the performance of your email messages with template metrics.
Open rates, forward rates and click through rates are shown for all the templates. This
will help you get a better understanding of which message is resonating the best with
the candidates.

Receive notifications
You can track if your email has been opened, forwarded or a link in it clicked. You can
receive immediate SMS notification and/or an email notification.
This feature works in most cases unless the recipient has turned off show images
option in their email client.

Emails sent report
Track the status of the emails you had sent from the email sent report. Click on the
“Sent Emails” on the left menu to see the status. Click on the report column header to
sort by “Sent Date”, “Last Activity”, “Click Count” or “# of Viewers”. This will help identify
the contacts that are most engaged with the emails you had sent.

Track calls and interviews
If you see good traction with a contact, you can call the candidate, schedule an
interview and select “Add to Interviewing”. The contacts lined up for interviews can be
seen by selecting the “Interviews” from the left menu.

If you want to call the contact later, add the contact to the “Phone Calls List” by clicking
on “Add to Call List” from the “My Emails” report. You can access this list by clicking
on the “Phone Calls” menu on the left.

Profile setup
You can access your profile setup from the top right menu. Click on your name and
then select “Profile” from the drop down.
You can enter your cell phone and other details in your profile.
19. DOWNLOADS & INTEGRATION
Downloads & Integration
You can download contacts (that you sent emails to) from the downloads section
under settings.
If mass email option is selected, an unsubscribe option is provided in the email. If any
of the contacts elects to unsubscribe, your can download the list of unsubscribes from
this section as well.
