He has a BSc in Civil Engineering from Baghdad University and an MSc in Structures from Baghdad University. He is registered as a structural engineer with Dubai Municipality and Trakhees. Currently he works as Design Manager at AMTECH in Dubai where he is responsible for structural concept design, calculations, drawings, and construction review for various building and infrastructure projects in the UAE and Iraq.

Involved in the construction of 54m three span intersection bridge. Each span was precast pretension girders
with 200 mm composite R.C. slab. The intermediate piers were in the form of circular R.C. columns with a
crosshead beam founded on a group of R.C. bored piles. The abutments were in the form of cantilever wall
supported on a group of bored piles. My site supervision duties included materials testing, checking of
Contractor’s temporary work design, supervising concrete pours in the pre casting yard and on site and general
supervision works.
