Cast Stone
We supply an extensive range of Cast Stone products
that can be moulded into almost any shape or size.
Dry Cast - The finished surface of Semi-Dry has the
look and texture of natural stone, providing a cost
effective and attractive solution. Many units can be
cast in the same day, making it popular for mass
scale projects such as housing or commercial
developments.
Wet Cast - Wet Cast Stone products are ideal for
use in load-bearing situations and where structural
support is needed or where there is a high degree of
environmental exposure. It has a comparatively
longer curing process than dry cast, but is a more
durable stone with a higher tensile strength.
CREATING SOLID SOLUTIONS
Product Focus– Cast Stone
Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC)
•GRC is typically only 30% of the weight of cast stone
and provides an alternative to plastic (GRP) or timber
frames.
•Unlike timber, GRC requires no painting, treating or
maintenance. We can even match the colour of your
existing stonework.
•Our most popular items are from our standard
range of 6 door surrounds. We can also produce
bespoke items tailor-made to your requirements
such as window surrounds, canopies and heads.
•GRC can be post fit, so it can be stored safely at
Amber Precast until your build is complete, meaning
that it doesn’t impact on your critical path.

Product Focus– GRC
Precast Concrete
• Amber Precast design and manufacture a
vast array of bespoke Precast Concrete
products in almost any shape or size.
• We produce precast in a variety of forms
including architectural cladding panels, structurally
reinforced concrete for use in construction projects,
structural walling and hard landscaping.
• We can customise your designs in a variety of
ways by incorporating different aggregates into the
sand or using embossed patterns and recessed
lettering.
•Following casting, a range of surface finishes can
be achieved such as polishing, acid-etching or
exposing the aggregate using a retarder.

Product Focus – Precast Concrete
Teesside University
Northshore Innovation Centre
• Appointed by Esh Build to supply architectural acid
etched cladding panels for the exterior of Northshore
Innovation Centre.
• Design required a material that was both durable and
visually appealing.
• We achieved a clean, contemporary finish using a
pigmented precast concrete produced with Spanish
Dolomite fine aggregate that sparkles in the light.
• 160 panels consisting of plinth units, spandrels,
mullions and large gable end panels ranging from 1.5T to
5T with the largest panels being 6m x 2.5m all
