1. General Settings
To configure general extension settings please go to Stores ->
Configuration -> Amasty Extensions -> Follow Up Email
Set this option to ‘Yes’ if you
want to make the coupon
available only for the email
recipient.
If you want to send winback
emails to customers who have
not visited store for some time
you need to specify the period
of customer absence (in days).

In this tab you can specify the
required sender details that will
be used by default.

emails for a blacklist in
a CSV file.

Specify an email
address to which test
emails will be sent.
Set this option to ‘Yes’
if you want to prevent
email sending to
customers during
email testing.

To create a rule for emails dispatch
please go to Marketing -> Follow Up
Email -> Rules
Click here to create a
new rule.

email campaign.
Choose the event
which would start
your email campaign.
After the settings are
specified click here to
continue.

will cancel emails dispatch if
necessary.

Set this option to ‘No’ if you
want to send emails to all
registered customers.
If there is a need you
can easily deactivate
the rule.

If you chose the ‘Date’ starting
event, you can specify the date

to specify stores and
customer group to which

specify sender details

get Google Analytics
statistics on your email
campaign.
NOTE: the fields Campaign
Source, Campaign Medium
and Campaign Name are
REQUIRED.
The information will be
accessible under campaigns
in you GA account.

Choose the coupon type:
• Percent of product price discount;
• Fixed amount discount;
• Fixed amount discount for whole
cart.
Specify delivery
time.
If you want to send
the email several
times, please click
this button and set
up the appropriate
data.

To create complex rules with
AND/OR logic choose the
Conditions Combination
option.
Specify the discount amount, expiration
date and, if you need:
- the number of products in cart to
which you want to apply maximum Qty
discount ;
- discount Qty step.

Instead of specifying multiple conditions for
each coupon, you can just use one of the
shopping cart price rules. In this case the
Follow Up Email module will create coupons
and add it to the rule. Each customer will
receive a coupon with your letter.
NOTICE: This feature works only if ‘Use Auto
Generation Option’ is enabled in the shopping
cart rule.

When you configure the
rules based on order
statuses you can see the
additional tab ‘Condition’.

set up different conditions
for rule implementation
(this is optional).

Click here to send a test
email. To specify an email
receiver email, please go
to: Stores >
Configuration > Amasty
Extensions > Follow Up
Email > Testing.

3. Email templates settings
To create an email
template or edit already
existing ones please go to
Marketing -> Email
Templates
Click here to add a
new email template

Choose the necessary
template from the
dropdown and click the
‘Load Template’ button.
See how to use email templates.

Configure template
content according to
your needs.
Click this button to insert
any necessary handle in
the e-mail template.

Here are some variables that might be
useful for your template.
Return Cross-sell Product Grid –
displays cross-selling and related items
for the ordered product;
Return Wishlist Product Grid – displays
the items from a customer’s wishlist;
Return Quote Product Grid – displays
the items from the order.

Specify the rule name and
choose the start event.
See how to use email templates.
Select the necessary
email template from the
drop-down.
Important! First you
should create an email
template and only then
configure the rule.

4. Advanced template settings
Use format manager to
display currency, dates,
price and time in the
necessary format.

Use URL manager to
automatically create URLs
corresponding to Magento
requirements.

5. Blacklist creation
If you want to add an email address to the
black list, please open: Marketing->
Follow Up Email > Black List
NOTE: if you need to quickly add a whole
black list, please import it through CSV
file, as shown on the Page 5.
Click here to manually add
an email address.

6. Email Log
To see all sent emails, please open:
Marketing -> Follow Up Email ->
History.
