Out of every known existing species on this planet, humans are the superior ones. Because we can devote our lives to a purpose. That purpose is different for each individual in his own view but God sent us here to Honor Him. When we remember God in our every task, we'll soon realise that all our sufferings have no meaning at all. We start living in peace with ourself and with others. There will be no blaming or criticism and we all support each other to grow. So let's remember Him for this moment and to be thankful for giving this wonderful life.

Grandeur of human birth
ਮਨੁੱ ਖ ਜਨਮ ਦੀ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ

2. ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਲਖ ਜ੉ਨਨ ਨਿਨਚ ਉਤਮੁ
ਜਨਮੁ ਸੁ ਮਾਣਨਸ ਦੇਹੀ।
Of the eighty four lacs life classes, birth as a
human is the best.

3. ਅਖੀ ਿੇਖਣੁ ਕਰਨਨ ਸੁਨਣ ਮੁਨਖ ਸੁਭ ਬ੉ਲਣੁ ਬਚਨ ਸਨੇ ਹੀ।
Eyes behold, ears listen to and the mouth speaks
sweet words.

4. ਹਥੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਿਣੀ ਩ੈਰੀ ਚਨਲ ਸਨਤਸੰਨਗ ਨਮਲੇਹੀ।
Hands earn livelihood and feet take towards the
holy congregation.

5. ਨਕਰਨਤ ਨਿਰਨਤ ਕਨਰ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਖਨਿ ਖਿਾ
ਲਣੁ ਕਾਨਰ ਕਰੇਹੀ।
In human life alone by the rightful
earning, out of one's savings, other
needy ones are fed.

6. ਗੁਰਮੁਨਖ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਕਾਰਥਾ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ
਩ਨਿ ਸਮਨਝ ਸੁਣੇਹੀ।
Man by becoming gurmukh- Guru
oriented, makes his life meaningful; he
reads Gurbani and makes others
understand (the importance of) bani

7. ਗੁਰ ਭਾਈ ਸੰਤੁਸਨਿ ਕਨਰ ਚਰਣਾਨਮਤੁ ਲੈ ਮੁਨਖ ਨ਩ਿੇਹੀ।
He satisfies his companions and
takes the holy water touched by
their feet i.e. he inculcates
complete humility.

8. ਩ੈਰੀ ਩ਿਣੁ ਨ ਛ੉ਡੀਐ ਕਲੀ ਕਾਨਲ ਰਹਰਾਨਸ ਕਰੇਹੀ।
Humbly touching of the feet should not be repudiated because in the dark
age, this quality is the only asset (of the human personality).

9. ਆਨ਩ ਤਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਨਸਖ ਤਰੇਹੀ ॥੩॥
People of such a conduct will swim the world-ocean and also get
along other disciples of the Guru.
