Alfredo Z. Matos has joined the innovative firm of Noveda Technologies Inc. located in Branchburg, NJ, as the firm’s
Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective November 1st
. Noveda Technologies is an innovative leader in real‐time, cloud‐based
energy and water monitoring with its patented Software as a Service (SaaS) model that helps reduce energy and water usage
and cost, optimize performance of renewable energy systems, and reduce the carbon footprint for customers across
commercial/retail, industrial, government, education, and utility sectors.
Mr. Matos is a seasoned energy executive having spent 31 years at Public Service Enterprise Group (NYSE: PEG) that
started with nuclear plant controls engineering and plant start‐up, gas and electric grid/network engineering and construction,
followed by twelve years as the chief operating manager for an international portfolio of energy companies in South America
and Oman, and finished up his tenure at PSEG as VP Renewables & Energy Solutions by starting‐up a business unit within the
utility responsible for exploring new opportunities in the renewable energy and energy efficiency markets where he
successfully created a team that invested, implemented and operated solar plants with a total capacity of 160MW and energy
efficiency measures that help customers reduce energy consumption and become less dependent on the grid.
During his international tenure, he was VP Distribution Operations for PSEG Global and served on several international
Board of Directors including as Chairman of the largest electric distribution and publicly traded company in Peru. Prior to his
service as VP Distribution Operations, Mr. Matos was General Manager for Strategic Operations for PSEG Americas in Coral
Gable, Florida, and a subsidiary of PSEG Global that focused on the Latin America energy sector as an M&A growth engine. He
has held other positions prior to his international work, including field operations, having entered PSEG after graduating
college.

Mr. Matos graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981 with a BSEE and continued his post graduate studies
obtaining his MSEE and an MBA in 1984 and 1994 respectively. He later also received a post‐graduate finance for senior
executives certificate from Harvard University in 1999. He is a noted speaker in the media, conferences and as a panelist on
renewable, smart grid and energy efficiency topics in the energy field. He serves as member of the New Jersey Institute of
Technology (NJIT) IDS Advisory Board, participated in a relief mission to Haiti (installing a solar micro‐grid at a school), is an
elected official in a second 3‐year term as a member of the Randolph Township Board of Education where he serves as
Chairperson of the Finance, Facility & Transportation (FFT) Committee. He also serves as Executive Director and Chairman of
the non‐profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Teresa G. Wright Promise Foundation promoting youth leadership in a
drug free environment and is a former recipient of the NJ Governor’s Volunteer of the Year and Volunteers of Morris County
Award.
