This document discusses the relationship between a sorority member and their "little", or younger member they mentor. It describes the sorority member's excitement when their rush crush joins their house. It discusses becoming very protective of and attached to their little. The sorority member finds themselves taking on a motherly role by encouraging their little and making sure they stay safe as they learn about college life.

1. 1) You knew since recruitment. Alot of us do, though some may say it's too early to find a
little. You were in love, RUSH CRUSH! You were lucky to have someone so perfect, and
you just prayed they went your house. Losing them to another house was not an option.
2) And when they did, rush your house, everything was perfect. Bid day was a happy day.
Odds are you wanted to take a photo with them, or took a photo with them at some
point. If you didn’t have a rush crush on them, you sure did now.

2. 3) When someone hurts your future little. You may be already psycho-protective, all you
want is for them to be happy. This is usually the clearest indicator that it may be time to
little up. You're not a baby anymore, they are, and sometimes you're okay with it.
4) All of a sudden you may want to encourage them to do things that would level with your
freshman year. You find it cute when they have no idea when it's going on, when it's so obvious
to you. It’s an education really, on the art of college, greek life, and most importantly fun.
5) You begin to remind them to keep it together, and sometimes help keep them, together.
Luckily, you just learned how to keep it together yourself. You're already in a team mentality,
together you can have everything or together you fall.

3. 6) Let's face it, no one’s perfect. You probably got on the struggle bus, a little more than you
intended with them. You may have bonded with a night no one remembers, but no matter what
you’ve had a night with them you could never forget.
7) When they tell you they are going out… without you. You may begin to feel like your mom
pre-preschool. Do they have everything they need? A drink? My number?
8) You accidentally find yourself calling them little before they even are… You can't help it! They
do something that makes your proud, or makes your heart melt. You’re ready to go to battle for
them in Chapter.
