ING-IND/17 INDUSTRIAL AND MECHANICAL PLANT
The programme
The possibility of pursuing managerial goals of supply chain efficiency and effectiveness is
strictly related to the information systems supporting supply chain management. This is true both
in case of internal and external supply chain, that is both in case we want to manage the flows of
material and information inside a company, and in case we want to manage the flows across the
borders of a company, towards suppliers and customers. The course aims at offering the
students a deep knowledge about the information systems for managing complex supply chains.
The concepts apply both to industrial and to service companies. The point of view is the one of
Operations managers or Supply Chain managers or consultants who want to evaluate which
opportunities information systems offers, which is the impact on processes and organisation.
Programme: Supply Chain Management e ICT; Information systems for the internal supply
chain; Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) ; APS - ERP integration; Product configurator;
Demand planning; Available to Promise (ATP) and Capable to Promise (CTP) ; Information
systems for external supply chain; eSupply Chain; Supply Chain Visibility & Tracking (SCV&T) ;
Supply Chain Collaborative planning (SCCP) ; Value Assessment: how to evaluate the value of a
information system for supply chain management;

E-OPERATIONS [C.I.] Code: 087144 Credits: 10.00 Grade: 26 Date: 16/07/2014 Subject groups ING-IND/17 INDUSTRIAL AND MECHANICAL PLANT The programme The possibility of pursuing managerial goals of supply chain efficiency and effectiveness is strictly related to the information systems supporting supply chain management. This is true both in case of internal and external supply chain, that is both in case we want to manage the flows of material and information inside a company, and in case we want to manage the flows across the borders of a company, towards suppliers and customers. The course aims at offering the students a deep knowledge about the information systems for managing complex supply chains. The concepts apply both to industrial and to service companies. The point of view is the one of Operations managers or Supply Chain managers or consultants who want to evaluate which opportunities information systems offers, which is the impact on processes and organisation. Programme: Supply Chain Management e ICT; Information systems for the internal supply chain; Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) ; APS - ERP integration; Product configurator; Demand planning; Available to Promise (ATP) and Capable to Promise (CTP) ; Information systems for external supply chain; eSupply Chain; Supply Chain Visibility & Tracking (SCV&T) ; Supply Chain Collaborative planning (SCCP) ; Value Assessment: how to evaluate the value of a information system for supply chain management; LAW AND MARKETS REGULATION Code: 093291 Credits: 5.00 Grade: 26 Date: 22/07/2014 Subject groups IUS/10 ADMINISTRATIVE LAW The programme By analysing the applicable rules and most significant case law, the course of Markets law and regulation provides students with the main instruments necessary to understand the legal framework and the principles governing regulated markets and the underlying business activities. After a first introductory part, the course envisages a specific study of the rulemaking function as well as an in-depth analysis of the rules and legal instruments governing business activities.
