An automated validation and verification of tickets along with allocation of berths in on-going journey. An initiative for growth an digitization of Indian Railways.
2. Introduction
Indian Railway’s one of the most eldest, biggest and
convenient means of transport in India. And being
the most eldest and biggest it has very tedious jobs
with it. By throwing some light on one of its tedious
job that is Ticket validation and verification work of
TTE(Train Ticket Checker). In this project we are
making some efforts to digitize the Indian Railway’s
Ticketing System by making the proper and
complete use of technology as per our complete
knowledge.
3. Motivation
Huge paper work in Railway’s ticketing system and
management in which TTE(Train Ticket Checker),
has to go berth by berth for validation and
verification of the tickets which have become a
hectic job. So, this real life problem arising as an
inconvenience for Indian Railway’s Ticket Checkers
motivated us to build a solution.
4. Objective
To efficiently digitize the ticket validation and
verification system.
To reduce paperwork.
To reduce corruption.
To save time.
5. Existing System
Main motive is to ease the process of ticket
booking by avoiding the hectic process to stand in a
queue.
Train ticket can be bought on a simple smart
phone application.
Generation of the QR Code on ticket.
QR reader checks the QR Code
Validating the Ticket with the help of GPS.
