  1. What will you do to assist your mentor in setting up a conducive learning environment in the following conditions: 1. Bulletin Board Display  I will check if the following are useful and important to the students.  Topic  Pick engaging Image to feature on the display  Put a title of each  Put display board at the back to as one them in one board.  Collect academic data to display on the bulletin board. 2. Small Group Discussion  I'd encourage the students to divide into smaller groups to complete their work. I'm going to ask them to find a place where they feel comfortable working in order to produce excellent work through their partnership and collaboration to complete their task. In order for them to know what to do, I will also severely instruct them to listen for their teacher's instructions. 3. Checking Class attendance in a virtual classroom (i.e., google meet or zoom)  Since Google form is one of the greatest tools for tracking student attendance during online classes, we may utilize a variety of techniques to gather attendance data from students in a virtual classroom. Additionally, you may view the students who are in the room when you take a screenshot of a virtual class. Furthermore, you may monitor the students' attendance by letting them press the raise hand button or play the audio and say that they are there because the teacher has called their names. FIELD STUDY 2 LEARNING EPISODE 5 PREPARING THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: AN OVERVIEW FS 2 Learning Environment 1:  What have you noticed of the display in the class bulletin board? What message or theme does it convey?  The board display is effective to informational which it conveys the information that interest the viewers and it is motivational because it attracts the viewers which are important for them to have interest in looking the bulletin boards display. Additionally, it is well organized, the color and shape are uniform.  What makes it attractive to the learners?  The bulletins board is attractive because of its color combination and arrangement. The images and information are very useful and attractive.
  2. The example above, describe two contrasting situations. The first shows that the learners are in the same room or space while in the second, the learners maybe in different learning spaces like homes, study hubs or in extreme cases parks or under the trees. As a teacher, in which of the two situations would you prefer to manage for learning? Choose between Learning Environment 1 or in Learning Environment 2.  Does it help in the learning process? How?  Yes, because it easily informs the students about what they should know for example the latest announcement, memorandum, achievers, any motivational reminders and friendly reminders for them to be aware for everything. And also, this board display made the information dissemination easier and some students enjoy and love looking at the bulletin board to see updates and will also motivate more students’ achievers to strive more. Learning Environment 2:  If the teacher is using a distance delivery of learning thought the models, where is most likely the learning space of the students?  Most teacher’s use Google Meet for learning space of the students to deliver their lesson.  Can you describe?  Google Meet (formerly known as Hangouts Meet and Google Duo) is a video-communication service developed by Google. It is one of two apps that constitute the replacement for Google Hangouts, the other being Google Chat. It I s a type of software application that allows more than 50 people like students to join the same virtual meeting in their most convenient time. It is also a cheaper than other applications online. And, the students can only join the virtual meeting through links or code provided by their teacher.  How can you as a teacher help to make such environment conducive for learning?  As a teacher, I can make the environment conducive for learning by using virtual software application to deliver my lesson and meet them with the use of technology, expand their knowledge and giving their opportunity to learn in online class and also, make sure that they know how to respect teachers and other students even though it is online class. We are now in era where we also consider the relevant or digital to us that can help us to learn in anywhere.
  3. Explain your choice. Why?  I prefer Learning Environment 1, which is face-to-face teaching, because it allows you to keep an eye on your students' progress and determine whether they are actually learning in the classroom. It also allows you to observe each student's behavior individually so you can decide how best to approach them. Additionally, based on our experiences from two years ago, I can understand how challenging it is for our teachers who lack strong technological skills as well as the kids. Because it is simpler for both students and teachers, I preferred face-to-face learning, which falls under Learning Environment 1, over distant learning, which falls under Learning Environment 2. Based on my noticing and analysis, I realized that a. The topic above is relevant to the situation that we experience today’s pandemic which is COVID-19. b. Today’s situation effect to the students and teachers is difficult. c. We can expand the learnings of the students through face-to-face learning. What probable problem may result from the two situations of the learning environment?  I believe that the problem with this is how certain that the teachers are that their students are learning what they intended with these two examples of the educational setting. What solutions can I think of to solve the problem?  For us to solve this problem, I need to observe everyday on how my students work and their development. I will make sure that they should do all the task or activities that was given for them and pass them all for recording and grading to know if there is a progress of every student. How should I do it?  For me to do the solution of this problem is that the first thing that I would do is to prepare a pre-test and post-test every quarter and every lesson to determine the knowledge of every student before you teach the lesson and after you discuss the lesson. Always check their activities to see the progress of each student and know where they didn’t understand and what part they understand and good at.

Face-to-face, because there is always the presence of the teacher who will give guidance to the learner. B. Virtual/On-line, because the learners are given time to learn on their own and progress at their own rate. C. Both, because they can always shift from one modality to another. D. Face-to-face because there is always the need of a teacher in a classroom all the time. 5. 5. In not less than 300 words, write an essay on the topic: “My Conductive Learning Environment” By: Tullabang, Aiza Pasado The first thing we should remember for the classroom to be conducive in learning is comfort because learners can feel safe and accepted, consider the lighting to be bright enough, has enough space, well organized and even the temperature. The learners can’t concentrate to learn if the classroom is too hot because they are distracted. And the conducive school environment in learning is to make sure that the environment is clean, the school personnel should be approachable and school should have all the facilities that helps all need of the students in the learning process. As a future teacher, I can accomplish those things by doing it into action and for being a responsible teacher with passion and determination to make learning’s better. I must need to love and care my students in order for them to feel that they are important as an individual and for them to feel comfortable, we must know their needs or concerns to address it immediately for them to see the important of education. So, I will carry out the following steps to accomplish a classroom that conducive to learning: First is to make sure that the classroom is clean through disciplining and encouraging the students to maintain the cleanliness of the classroom and with this strategy, I also help them to be aware of their duties and responsibilities. Second is to organized the room through creating effective seating arrangement every grading for them to know their classmates closely. Third is to use a student- centered learning approach where students become the leader of themselves who are able to solve their own problem independently and practice to do their work on their own, not relying to other people. Fourth is to be model to everyone, not only in school but also in the community. In short, a conducive learning environment is one that has consistent practices that keep the school safe, clean, orderly and free from distraction; Maintain facilities that provide challenging activities; and address the physical, social and psychological needs of the students.
