Group Work – get participants to come up with an example
brainstorm, then categorize them to roughly: Storage, User Interface, Visualization, Communication - any others?
The following slides will be done in the afternoon
Get people to think back to the morning – perhaps think of their work, and design a Information System
This will be done as an exercise in the afternoon – get people to write specifications for the information systems which they designed.
Record them up on the flip chart – one per flip chart. Come up with solutions – perhaps mind map? Mention: Red Cross Code of Conduct. Point 10 of the code states: “In our information, publicity and advertising activities, we shall recognise disaster victims as dignified humans, not hopeless objects.”
