taken, resources to be employed and other elements necessary to carry out a
given course of action
Regulation Rules or laws defined and enforced by an authority to regulate conduct
Regulations The details of implementation for achieving the desired effects of legislation
Rule The limits of acceptable behaviour of the members of the organization
Standard A specific and quantifiable mandatory requirements
