Unit IV Assessment: The Code of Ethics and Evaluation

MBA 6301: Business Ethics
1. Fasco Group Inc. Code of Ethics and Evaluation is a written document that states the
Group
acceptable and unacceptable behaviors expected from all Group employees.
2. This code of Ethics represent the values and ethics with which Fasco Group Inc. conducts
business and will continue to uphold the highest levels of business Ethics in all our
business dealings. Fasco Group Inc. Code of Ethics encompasses all aspects of our
business, including: Human resources, Production, Sales, Customer services, Purchasing,
and Accounting. It also addressed the company’s ethical standards, what is expected from
`every employees of Fasco Group Inc. which includes: Good communication, Honesty
and Integrity, Fair Conduct, Compliance with rules and regulations, obeying all
applicable laws, reporting violations, Competence and others.
A. Human Resources:
i. Fasco Group Inc. shall give equal employment opportunity to all applicants
ii. Fairness in training, Promotion and disciplinary of all employees.
B. Production:
i. All Group employees must ensure that production function or activities are
damaging to the final consumers or society.
ii. Remove any defective product and service from going into circulation.
C. Sales and Marketing:
i. Unhealthy rivalry with competitors which might leads to any unethical conduct
shall be avoided.
ii. Marketing and promotions shall be carried out for the good of general society.
D. Customer Service:
i. All Fasco Group Inc. Employees must work towards providing utmost customer
satisfaction through commitment and honest dealings.
ii. All customer service associates must act with all courtesy and respect towards the
customer.
E. Accounting and Finance:
i. All accounting personnel must strictly adhere to every core accounting principles
and present information in clearest and most accurate way as possible.
ii. Falsification of accounting records shall not be tolerated.
F. Purchasing and Supply:
i. Any unethical conducts in purchasing, such as bribery or gratification shall be
duly dealt with.
ii. Group purchasing standards shall be followed in all our purchasing and supplying
process.
G. Communication:
i. All employees must correct and accurate information to fellow employees and
customers.
ii. Group employees must communicate without withholding any crucial information
in all business dealings.
H. Honest and Integrity:
i. Honesty In dealing with customers and fellow employees is very crucial in our
business
ii. All employees are expected to act with utmost good-faith in all their dealings.
I. Conflict of Interest.
i. No employees of this Group shall engage in multiple interest with other
organizations while the employment of the Group.
ii. Employees of this Group are not allowed to use company’s properties at their
disposal for personal used.
J. Competence:
i. Fasco Group Inc. employees are expected to have the skills and expertise
required for their job assignment and to have a true sense of professionalism.
ii. All employees are required to have the ability to perform at acceptable
standards.
K. Good behaviors:
i. Fasco Group Inc. has a zero tolerance to unruly behaviors and conducts, such as
sexual harassment, insubordination, gross indiscipline and others.
ii. Employees are expected to deal with fellow employees, customers and society
is best moral behaviors.
L. Reporting Violations:
i. Employees must report any suspected illegal and unethical conducts
ii. All employees who report violations shall be protected.

  • 1. Unit IV Assessment: The Code of Ethics and Evaluation By, Adepitan Fasoro, Columbia Southern University, USA MBA 6301: Business Ethics 1. Fasco Group Inc. Code of Ethics and Evaluation is a written document that states the Group acceptable and unacceptable behaviors expected from all Group employees. 2. This code of Ethics represent the values and ethics with which Fasco Group Inc. conducts business and will continue to uphold the highest levels of business Ethics in all our business dealings. Fasco Group Inc. Code of Ethics encompasses all aspects of our business, including: Human resources, Production, Sales, Customer services, Purchasing, and Accounting. It also addressed the company’s ethical standards, what is expected from `every employees of Fasco Group Inc. which includes: Good communication, Honesty and Integrity, Fair Conduct, Compliance with rules and regulations, obeying all applicable laws, reporting violations, Competence and others. A. Human Resources: i. Fasco Group Inc. shall give equal employment opportunity to all applicants ii. Fairness in training, Promotion and disciplinary of all employees. B. Production: i. All Group employees must ensure that production function or activities are damaging to the final consumers or society. ii. Remove any defective product and service from going into circulation.
  • 2. C. Sales and Marketing: i. Unhealthy rivalry with competitors which might leads to any unethical conduct shall be avoided. ii. Marketing and promotions shall be carried out for the good of general society. D. Customer Service: i. All Fasco Group Inc. Employees must work towards providing utmost customer satisfaction through commitment and honest dealings. ii. All customer service associates must act with all courtesy and respect towards the customer. E. Accounting and Finance: i. All accounting personnel must strictly adhere to every core accounting principles and present information in clearest and most accurate way as possible. ii. Falsification of accounting records shall not be tolerated. F. Purchasing and Supply: i. Any unethical conducts in purchasing, such as bribery or gratification shall be duly dealt with. ii. Group purchasing standards shall be followed in all our purchasing and supplying process. G. Communication: i. All employees must correct and accurate information to fellow employees and customers. ii. Group employees must communicate without withholding any crucial information in all business dealings.
  • 3. H. Honest and Integrity: i. Honesty In dealing with customers and fellow employees is very crucial in our business ii. All employees are expected to act with utmost good-faith in all their dealings. I. Conflict of Interest. i. No employees of this Group shall engage in multiple interest with other organizations while the employment of the Group. ii. Employees of this Group are not allowed to use company’s properties at their disposal for personal used. J. Competence: i. Fasco Group Inc. employees are expected to have the skills and expertise required for their job assignment and to have a true sense of professionalism. ii. All employees are required to have the ability to perform at acceptable standards. K. Good behaviors: i. Fasco Group Inc. has a zero tolerance to unruly behaviors and conducts, such as sexual harassment, insubordination, gross indiscipline and others. ii. Employees are expected to deal with fellow employees, customers and society is best moral behaviors. L. Reporting Violations: i. Employees must report any suspected illegal and unethical conducts ii. All employees who report violations shall be protected.
