3. Course information
Our MBAs enable students to develop a strategic,
integrated and holistic perspective of organisations.
You will study management at an individual, group
and organisational behavioural level as well as
at a functional, process and strategic level.
The MBAs will prepare you for a senior
management career through the development
of enhanced personal and interpersonal
skills. In particular, you will gain leadership
capability, skills in business development and
in facilitating change in organisations.
Academics and practitioners with an international
perspective teach this programme, enabling

to lead across global boundaries.

Mode of assessment
Assessment includes coursework and
examinations. Coursework may include
group projects, presentations and online
participation. The dissertation represents one
third of the marks for the final award.

Dissertation or Consultancy project The MBAs
culminates with a dissertation or consultancy project.
This is probably the most exciting stage of the MBA
programme, enabling you to undertake an applied
business research project from a strategic perspective,
on a topic that fits with your own career aspirations or
that of your business sponsor.
Learning outcomes
On successful conclusion of the course, you will
hold the award of Master of Business Administration
(MBA). This is the most widely recognised
international management qualification, and qualifies
you for exemptions from certain professional
examinations. It also allows for entry to further
postgraduate studies, including PhD programmes,
as well as for academic and professional work.
The course is designed to build the following:

4. Financial information
Deposit
After accepting an offer, applicants are required to
pay £3,000 deposit in order for Bucks to issue a
Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) letter.
Prompt payment discount
If an applicant chooses to pay their full fee prior to
enrolment, they will be entitled to £1,000 discount.
The prompt payment discount is only available for
courses with a minimum tuition fee of £6,000.
Instalments
Instead of taking advantage of the prompt payment
discount, applicants can choose to pay their fees in
two instalments, with 50% of the remaining tuition
fee due before enrolment and the remaining 50%
due before the start of the second semester.

Entry requirements
English
You must hold an IELTS with an average
of 6.5 or above, with no component lower
than 5.5, or equivalent. Enquire about our

Academic and professional
You must hold an equivalent of a UK Level
6 qualification according to UK NARIC.
Work experience
Executive MBA – you must have two years,
relevant work experience. International MBA –
work experience is desirable but not essential.
