Carrell reported that Seydlitz
actually denied while in
conversation with FM Paulus
that he would have disobeyed
Hitler , had he been in place of
FM Paulus:--

6. The authors claim about
Seydlitz was fallacious as the
same Seydlitz denied that he
would have disobeyed Hitlers
orders in battle of Stalingrad as
narrated by notable German
historian Paul Carrell in his
book distributed to all Pakistan
Army officers.

9. The Pakistani brigadier thus
should not have committed this
error.
I sent the staff college my
observations and they were kind
enough to publish my viewpoint
as a short article.
