This document discusses the planning, analysis, and design of a hospital building using STAAD Pro V8i software. The 4-storey hospital building was modeled and analyzed for dead, live, and wind loads. The substitute frame method was used to analyze the structure and calculate bending moments and shear forces. Various structural elements like beams, columns, slabs, footings, and stairs were then designed according to Indian codes and standards. The results obtained from manual calculations were verified against the software analysis. STAAD Pro was found to provide accurate and efficient analysis of the building for designing the structure.
